Melissa Clarke (Chairperson)

at Aboriginal Legal Rights Movement

KWY welcomes Ngarrindjeri woman Melissa Clarke onto the Board of Directors as Chairperson.  Melissa is currently State Coordinator of the Aboriginal Visitors Scheme (AVS) at Aboriginal Legal Rights Movement.   Melissa came to ALRM from her position of four and half years as the Aboriginal Advocate at the Office of the Guardian for Children and Young People.   Prior to that, Melissa served 14 years with the South Australia Police working in a number areas including Prosecution, Youth Justice, Mounted Operations, Family Violence and Crime Prevention.  Salome Hapuku will continue with the AVS as the Assistant Coordinator.
