Timothy Ritchie is a 52 year old Aboriginal man with connections across South Australia and to New South Wales with family ties to the Wirangu, Kokatha and Dunhgatti nations. He has over 20 years’ experience in both the Public sector and the not-for profit community sector. His commitment to Aboriginal community organisations is demonstrated in the number and diversity of board positions he has held, from sporting organisations, to social service organisations and arts organisations. This engagement has enabled Timothy to develop enduring relationships across a wide sector of stakeholders and influential Aboriginal and Torres Strait Islander leaders. Timothy has always been a strong advocate for Aboriginal Artists as a Tandanya board member and now as Chief Executive Officer over 4 years working at Tandanya. His own personal interests are in carving artifacts, pottery and painting. Timothy recognises the important role that family plays and acknowledges the influence his families who have always encouraged in him a creative spirit.
