2018 Flame of Change Unifying Support Gala Dinner and Awards

Original size

Each year KWY hosts the Flame of Change Unifying Support awards night and Gala dinner. The aim of this event is to highlight the accomplishments of the hard-working Women and Men in the sectors of Domestic and Family Violence, Child Protection, and Homelessness.

This 5-hour event includes a 3-course meal prepared by the talented staff at Adelaide’s Pullman Hotel and features the musical talent of Soundfactory, one of Adelaide’s Premiere Corporate bands.

The Flame was an integral symbol for KWY as it symbolises the candle-light vigils that support victims, survivors and families of domestic and Aboriginal family violence. Change is required in attitudes from men regarding gendered violence. Unifying Support is an important element carried out by organisations daily, who are working towards the same goal that is to ensure the safety of women and children in this country.

This year’s special guest is 2015 Australian of the year and acclaimed domestic violence campaigner, Rosie Batty.

Tickets are available through Trybooking for $160.00. All tickets are tax-deductible and include entry, entertainment and a 3-course meal at the Pullman Hotel located in the heart of Adelaide’s CBD.
