What We Offer

Tawata Pari is a Kaurna name meaning ‘Many Rivers’. The name reflects that rivers connect all things living across this Country and when the river flows all things thrive. As in Aboriginal culture, we are all connected. When those connections flow our Culture, families and children thrive.

This program uses Family Led Decision Making Principles to support engagement with kin, and/or other culturally safe networks for the purpose of identifying and securing permanent and short-break (respite) placements, while also navigating family challenges within the kinship placement.

This program places a strong emphasis on culture, healing, community and connectedness while being proactive to ensure safety and wellbeing in the best interest of the child.

Our goal is to interrupt the cycle of intergenerational removals and trauma, and pave the way for future generations to break free from such patterns.
